Hey ladies!

Long time no blog. I have had a broken laptop for forever :P Well my wonderful brothers bought me a mini laptop :) It is a little white acer aspire. So very cute! I love it and was beyond suprised.

I have the best brother ever :)

We don't start back with RCIA until next week. I miss it.I got a sponser. Her name is Janelle and she is super nice. I look forward to getting to know her better.

I have been getting involved more in the Moms grou at church. It has been fun. They are a great group of ladies :)

Houston had a great Christmas. I will try to upload a few pics later. Sadly, I didn't take many. I was helping him open and forgot about taking pics. Bad mommy!

Sorry I have been the world's worst blogger:P

I have been sick almost the whole last three months.

I have had ear infections, a lymphatic infection, lymodema, cellulitis, lung infections, salivary gland infections, infections of my other glands...you name it it has happened :P

I finally got feeling good enough and stopped running a fever and get 9 million new fever blisters a day and I get a stomach virus Thanksgiving night ;P

Yeah, I just may kiss my nurse when I see her to give me my transfusion on the 4th which happens to be my birthday. Nothing like having a blunt needle stuck in your chest that says "Celebration" :P Hey most years I am in the hospital :P I have even had surgery on my birthday :P

All I want for Christmas is some B and T cells :P It ain't going to happen.

I am just praying that I can stay well enough not to end up in the hospial during the holidays :P Been there done that, bought the shirt :P

Sorry to be a downer just worn out :P

On happier news...I will share some Houston funnies....

Last night he said ...
" jade, i growed in your tomach (stomach) like a veggiable (vegetable)" I tink I was an apple."

LMBO

He was very concerned after seeing Santa.

He got all serious and said

" Jade, when did Santa get so FaK (fat). He has a big ol' fak belly. Poor Santa."

He cracks me up.

We were telling him we have to help pappapw because he is almost like a baby.

He said " Pappaw is one OLD baby."

He says it all so serious and you can tell he is thinking so hard :)

I am proud of my booger.

I will update more postive things later.

I will feel kinda bad this week. Got my treatment and stuff but I will try to update.

I will be the big 72....I mean 27 for my birthday on Thursday. :P I feel 100.

Busy bee busy bee...

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. I have been so busy. On Friday we had more testing to get the educational Autism diagnosis, actually PDD-NOS. It is on the autism spectrum. I didn't think it would take quite as long as it did. It took hours and hours and I had to be there the whole time. My brain hurt from all that thinking...LOL

We then drove a few hours away and went to his buddy Trent's bday. It was fun..but tiring. We spent the night and the party was Saturday. Candice is my hero for having like 20 kiddos and parents in her house. I would need a tranqulizer shot...lol

Then we drove home and of course Houston had a seizure so I felt like I needed to watch him like a hawk :P He makes me so nervous when he vomits with them because I am scared he is going to choke.

To say I am tired is an understatement...LOL

Today has kinda sucked eggs....seriously.

The hubby was off today and I was feeling overwhelmed having him and Houston home today... I am sooo Type A I can't handle not having a plan...I seriously could have used my Xanax prescription I haven't gotten filled today. I have 11 prescriptions left I think I may be getting on filled. It that makes me weak. Well then I am :P

I get so overwhelmed with what I need to do that I can become totally overwhelmed. I then start the panicking and crying. I know this is IRRATIONIONAL but still can't get ahold of myself.

My problem is I get way to into things. Today I decided to cook chicken. How many lbs do you think I cooked. Try about 4.5...so then I felt like I had to decide what to do with it. So I made 12 enchilidas :P I guess I am freezing some :P and a huge chicken pot pie and and I still have 2 lbs that I need to do something with :P I was in the kitchen for hours today cleaning and cooking. I need to manage my time better. I am not a good time manager :P

Am I the only one like this?

I am a flawed perfectionist. I get so focused on doing something that I can't see the forrest for the trees..kwim?

UGH!

Like the other day I spent ALL DAY totally reorgainzing the kitchen...I think I get almost "manic" about stuff. Does anyone else do this?

Anyway, I will be quiet before you think I am totally nuts.

Sorry for all the horrible acts of bad grammar and spelling. I am not even going to try to be correct. It's a losing battle.:P

She likes me she really likes me (Said in my best Sally Field voice)

These women in some way have made me a better person....whether it is by making me feel more normal, realize I am not alone, give me kiddo advice or advice on my faith journey :)

Wanted to share...

We sung this at Mass today...it is probably my favorite Hymn.

Shepherd Me, O God
Lyrics
http://www.spiritandsong.com/musicondemand/songs/8450

Refrain
Shepherd me, O God,
beyond my wants,
beyond my fears,
from death into life.

1. God is my shepherd,
so nothing shall I want,
I rest in the meadowsof faithfulness and love,
I walk by the quiet waters of peace.

2. Gently you raise me and heal my weary soul,
you lead me by pathways of righteousness and truth,
my spirit shall singthe music of your Name.

3. Though I should wander the valley of death,
I fear no evil,
for you are at my side,
your rod and your staff,
my comfort and my hope.

4. You have set me a banquet of love in the face of hatred,
crowning me with love beyond my power to hold.

5. Surely your kindness and mercy follow me all the days of my life;
I will dwell in the house of my God forevermore.

Happy All Souls Day :)

All Souls Day
All Soul's Day (sometimes called the "Day of the Dead") is always November 2 (November 3rd if the 2nd falls on a Sunday).

All Soul's Day is a Roman Catholic day of remembrance for friends and loved ones who have passed away. This comes from the ancient Pagan Festival of the Dead, which celebrated the Pagan belief that the souls of the dead would return for a meal with the family. Candles in the window would guide the souls back home, and another place was set at the table. Children would come through the village, asking for food to be offered symbolically to the dead, then donated to feed the hungry.

The day purposely follows All Saint's Day in order to shift the focus from those in heaven to those in purgatory. It is celebrated with masses and festivities in honor of the dead. While the Feast of All Saints is a day to remember the glories of Heaven and those there, the Feast of All Souls reminds us of our obligations to live holy lives and that there will be purification of the souls of those destined for Heaven.

The Christian holiday of All Soul's Day pays respect and remembers the souls of all friends and loved ones who have died and gone to heaven. The living pray on behalf of Christians who are in purgatory, the state in the afterlife where souls are purified before proceeding to heaven. Souls in purgatory, who are members of the church just like living Christians, must suffer so that they can be purged of their sins. It is a time to pray for their souls that they may be received into heaven.

Upon death, it is believed that souls have not yet been cleansed of sin. Praying for souls of loved ones helps to remove the stain of sin, and allow the souls to enter the pearly gates of heaven. Through prayer and good works, living members of the church may help their departed friends and family. There are three Requiem Masses that are said by the clergy to assist the souls from Purgatory to Heaven: one for the celebrant, one for the departed, and one for the pope.

The traditions of the Feast of All Souls began independently of the Feast of All Saints. The Feast of All Souls owes its beginning to seventh century monks who decided to offer the mass on the day after Pentecost for their deceased community members. In the late tenth century, the Benedictine monastery in Cluny chose to move their mass for their dead to November 2, the day after the Feast of all Saints. This custom spread and in the thirteenth century, Rome put the feast on the calendar of the entire Church. The date remained November 2 so that all in the Communion of the Saints might be celebrated together.

Many customs are associated with The Day of the Dead celebration. In the home an altar is made with an offering of food upon it. It is believed that the dead partake of the food in spirit and the living eat it later. The ofrendas (offerings) are beautifully arranged with flowers such as marigolds (zempasuchitl), which are the traditional flower of the dead. There is a candle placed for each dead soul, and they are adorned in some manner. Incense is also often used, and mementos, photos, and other remembrances of the dead also adorn the ofrenda.

It is also traditional in some areas to see the play Don Juan Tenorio. Paper mache and sugar skulls are popular, as are cardboard coffins from which a skeleton can be made to jump out. Special masks are also worn, allowing a person to achieve a facial expression for which they feel they are inadequate to achieve.

Traditional Catholics still honor customs related to the relief of the souls suffering in purgatory. One custom is for persons to pray six Our Fathers, Hail Mary's and Glory Be's for the intentions of the Pope in a church, and thereby, receive a plenary indulgence for a soul in purgatory. This action may be repeated for another soul, by leaving the church and re-entering it to repeat the prayers.

All Soul's Day lives on today, particularly in Mexico, where All Hallows' Eve, All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day are collectively observed as "Los Dias de los Muertos" (The Days of the Dead). First and foremost, the Days of the Dead is a time when families fondly remember the deceased. But it is also a time marked by festivities, including spectacular parades of skeletons and ghouls. In one notable tradition, revelers lead a mock funeral procession with a live person inside a coffin.

Houston funnies and and updates!

Houston is soooo stinking funny. He changed schools last week and he has been a wealth of funnies about the whole transition.

The hubby and I felt like heels when we figured this jewel out.....The hubby and I asked Houston who his best friend was in his class. He told us "Eweston" (Houston). We ofcourse thought he was misunderstanding us...he still has issues processing stuff sometimes. Well we thought he was trying to be funny at first. Then we decided he had an invisible friend after he started talking about "The Other Houston." Well fast forward a week and I am dropping Houston off and I see a cubbie with Houston C. and think why do they have his middle intial on there. I look right next to it and you guessed it....there was Houston B. There is another Houston in his class :P It never even entered Jeremy and I's mind. We don't hear the name often and no teacher mentioned it :P

Oh well.

Houston is loving his new school. Weight lifted from my shoulders! They did a cute little "Preschool Circus." I took lots of pics..I will upload them soon.

Other news......well it isn't news it's just random thoughts. Have you all noticed more homeless people in your area? It breaks my heart. Today I was driving by and I saw the saddest looking guy with a sign that simply said "Hungry." I felt like God was telling me " Go get him Food." I went to Dollar General and got him some snacks, crackers, beef jerky, and a few other things that I thought may would keep him full and some gaterade to keep him hydrated. I was kind of nervous to give the stuff to hime because I wasn't sure if he had been drinking or something. I went and gave him the food, I didn't have Houston with me. His eyes lit up when he saw the $10 or so in food I got for him. It broke my heart. He was so sincerly grateful, he kept telling me "God Bless you." I am still sad about how "Broken" he looked. :( I counted 7 other homeless people on the way home :( It is getting worse and I fear it will get even worse before it gets better with the economy.

Sorry for the random ramblings. It was just on my mind. :(

I will update more later...blogger is having issues ;)

Remember tomorrow!

Stillbirth Awareness and Research Act

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day: Take Action

October 15th is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day in the United States. More than 25,000 children are stillborn in the United States every year leaving mothers, entire families and communities devastated. Estimates of the rate of occurrence of stillbirth make it at least as common as autism.

Stillbirth is not an intractable problem. Greater research would likely significantly reduce it's incidence, but good research requires good data. H.R. 5979: Stillbirth Awareness and Research Act is under consideration by Congress. This proposed bill would standardize stillbirth investigation and diagnosis, thus providing more data for the needed research. Better research means fewer children born still.

On October 15th, remember the thousands of unfinished children lost and the families who remain to grieve them. Honor them by taking action. Let's help pass H.R. 5979.

Action Steps

Step 1. Use Your Blog to Enlist Others-Copy the contents of this entire post and publish it on your blog immediately.
GOAL: Enlist 10 of your readers to spread the word

Step 2. Use Your E-mail to Enlist Others-E-mail 5 bloggers and ask them (nicely and in an unspammy way) to publish these action steps on their blog. Consider contacting celebrity bloggers, political bloggers, medical bloggers, or bloggers who are not part of your reading community.
GOAL: Enlist 3 bloggers outside of your normal blog sphere to spread the word in other online communities.

Step 3. Help Pass the Stillbirth Awareness and Research Act-By October 15th, publish a post on your blog supporting H.R. 5979 Stillbirth Awareness and Research Act. For maximum impact, title your post: "Stillbirth Awareness and Research Act."
GOAL: 1,000,000 Google results on October 15th when that term is searched for. Currently, Google only returns 20,400 pages - most of which have nothing to do with the bill.

(****I totally stole this from my friend Dana's blog!****)

Regular updates!!

Lets see I have been oh so sick....it has been miserable. I have had the lymph node eventually absess and infection spread. Of course since my immune system was done I ended up getting more sick. Yeah, not fun.

Finally like 7 meds and three shots later I am not running a crazy fever :P

I would be grateful for any spare prayers ;)

Houston is starting a new school tomorrow. I feel bad for him. He was having a problem being handsy and keeping his attention so he he swapping to the school where there are more aids in the class. Please say a little prayer that school goes well for him. I am begging ;)

He has gotten so funny. His speech has gotten so much better. The teacher thinks speechwise he should be pretty well caught up in by the end of the school year :) She says he has made more progress than most of the kids make....so we are so thankful for that.

Anyway, funny recent Houston sayings....

He told us the other day that they learned about Danger and Safety. I ended up stubbing my toe the other night and kind of whimpered. Houston asked me if he needed to call "991, and if it was an Emergency." LOL

He then told me they would send the police to arrest the bad guys or the firemen who put out fires and got cats...LOL

He is sooo stinkin cute.

He tells his daddy every night that he is his "Bessie Buddy" (Best Buddy). He then says he is "Jade's Baby." Aw!

Anway, I will update more later. Still bumming a computer looks like the motherboard will have to be replaced on mine :P

Houston has school tomorrow.I hope he does good, he had to miss a few days last week for the wedding.

Anyway. I will write more later. Just wanted to let you know I was alive ;)

Rainy Tuesday and updates

Okay lets see. We have been busy the last few weeks.

Houston started school. He loves it. He has been doing okay I think. He has been having a probably in small groups and centers. A lot of the prob I think is he has a short attention span and he is also like the youngest kid in his class (he made the cut off by one day.)

He had a 4th bday party with his class on Friday. He talked about it the whole weekend. On Saturday we went to CEC and had a small party with some of his friends. He loved it! I have a few horrible snapshots I will share later. I cannot believe he is 4 :**(

He got a ton of transformers so he was a happy camper.

We went to church and then just took it easy the rest of the day on Sunday. We gave him a few more little gifts because it was his actual beday.

Yesterday, we didn't have any plans. Houston was acting kidda puny from allergies so we hung inside most of the day. I played with Houston and watched the 90210 marathon. Exciting stuff I tell you! The new 90210 comes on tonight and I am kind of excited. I am so pathetic :PIt is a guilty pleasure. I remember thinking they seemed so much older and grown up. I was watching yesterday and realized they were in the same grad class as the hubby, the Class of 93...LOL Whoops.

The hubby and Houston are in a wedding this Sunday. I hope Houston does okay. I took him to get his hair cut this weekend and it is the worst haircut ever. I have to go get it fixed :P

I also have to call progressive because some lady hit me on Friday when I went to drop Houston off at school. :P I swear the black cloud follows me ;)

The hubby has been having problems with his MS so he could us the prayers if you could spare them!

I know this isn't exactly a "edge of your seat" kind of update...guess I am just boring! **shrugs**

I am a mom of a 4 yr old.

Houston was born 4 years ago today! I had been in labor for three long days. My life was forever changed.

I still remember the feeling of him being sat on my chest.

I am not sure what I did to deserve the great honor of being his mom!

Happy Birthday Houston Chance!

About to head back home...

Houston and I have been staying with my parents for the last few days... had doc appts and family stuff.

Went to a bridal shower for my soon to be triple cousin after she is married. Can we say small town...LOL

Went out to eat with my cousin and my good friend yesterday. They are both birthday girls on the 30th...so we celebrated. We then went to a movie. It was fun!

Today was my due date with this last pregnancy.Makes me sad...instead last week we got to go to the genecist :( They did say that they didn't think the trisomy was inherited. We got a copy of a slide that showed our little girl's dna pairs. It was neat. The didn't see any translocations on there so that was good.

They again said since it was the complete trisomy. That you usually miscarried when we did between 11-14 weeks. If you go any farther the babies are stillborn. There has never been a complete Trisomy 8 baby born alive. It's sad :*(

Oh well sorry to depress you...just had to mention.

I am doing better than I thought.

I have had a lot to keep me busy.

Anyway, we are heading back home later. I gotta get home to get Houston to school tomorrow and the hubby got some kind bad news about his MS today at the doc so I gotta take care of him :)

I could use a few prayers if you don't mind.

Oh I get to start RCIA finally on the 10th!! WHOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!

I will write more later..sorry this is so hard to read.

Tired but can't sleep

I can tell I am hitting the 11 mass tomorrow...;)

I really haven't done a whole lot. I got my cast off and I swear trying to walk now is work ;) Seriously...still hurts :P

I had to go to the grocery store today. Man, food is sooo expensive. I about get sick waiting for the total. No extras for me.

I got a lot of BBC movies like Jane Austin's novels etc on dvd I am going to watch this week.I am excited...sooooo soooo sad.

I got lots of books to read this week so that is good.

I have to say I was a little disappointed with Breaking Dawn...not as much "feeling" I think. I would like a "Nessie" and Jacob book:)

Funny review that has spoilers from Edward Cullen.Cracked me up!

Houston and daddy went to the lake.I went into town to do some things I need to do that are hard with Houston. I need to clean tomorrow...yuck....

I did cook one of the hubsters fav casseroles and make Banana Pudding for him though...so I guess I did do something.

I will write more tomorrow. My sleepy med is kicking in and I am getting loopy :P

Still a bum

I am having to borrow the hubs computer when I can...it bites! It takes all the restraint I have not to go and buy a new one :P

Lets see this is a big ol update about nothing..You are all chomping at the bit now huh!

Lets see the person I was being evasive about being in the hospital was my mom.She is out now...she was having a few issues some of them are resolving somewhat...blood issues the others not so much. She has more tests this week so she could use more prayers :)

Anyway,so with my mom in the hospital for a over a week, I had my little sister here :) It was fun. She is 13. So a three year old and a thirteen year old...fun times I tell you ;) Seriously, she was a life saver..it is hard to rangle Houston with this broken foot.

We went to the library a few times and somehow they managed to get in trouble with the library for loud talking everytime :O Poor Houston has no mute button and he talks like he is talking through a bull horn at all times. God help his new teachers this year. I bet his reputation has preceed him. They will say he is soooo sweet, he is a ham, but he never shuts up.The teacher told us last year he talks more than any other child she has taught in 15 years ....no kidding!?

He is so funny that you can't help but love him.

Lets see I borrowed all the PBS movies from the library. I am now an addict for all the shows when they make the people live in another time period. Love them.I am SUCH a nerd.

I could have told you that though. Jeremy had to go out of town with work...the In laws offered to take Houston so I had the house to myself so I could school shop. Friday, my sister went home and Houston went to his Nana's. I went to the thrift store...a guilty pleasure of mine...It's the thrill of the hunt. I then went to eat by MYSELF...then I went to the movies...by MYSELF...LOL. Then, I went to the bookstore. It happened to be the release party for Breaking Dawn..so here I was between people in costumes, bobbing for apples, getting vampire face painting...by MYSELF..yeah...a nerd. I was the only person there by myself:P

So then I woke up the next day and was ready to shop. I went to Gymboree first and got him $150 worth of stuff...it was a ton of stuff! I paid no more than $11 for anything..I got him like 9 short sleeve shirts,1 sleeveless shirt,3 long sleeve shirts, a pair of pants than can be rolled up for manpris :)LOL, and like 12 pairs of shorts..seriously!

Here is some of what I got.

I got him lots of other cut stuff..you get the idea. Got him lots of those little knit shorts easier for him to get off to potty.

I went to Children's place next got some more great deals! Went to Sears on my way out and got him like 15 shirts for $21.00. A lot of them were little polos! It was tax free weekend so I racked up!

Then went and got him the "Check" shoes he has been coveting for ever :) Along with a Speed Racer backpack and lunch box.

I had to get sooo many school supplies. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find fat pencils ???!!

Houston saw me packing all his supplies together and he said "Mama I not know it Christmas." Not quite son,not quite!

Anyway the rest of the weekend was boring.:P Later my friends called and they were free on Saturday :**) Oh well..alls well that ends well.

Gotta go pick up some makeup I preordered from Clinque tomorrow....I am tired of looking like I jaundice...olive complexion=sickly looking. I splurged but hey I needed it :P

Houston is back in school starting Thursday.I'll miss him!

Sabbath Sunday

Well I have had a good day.Last night two friends and I went to see Hancock and out to eat. The food and company were great. I so needed a break.

I have had the pleasure of my little sister being here since Tuesday. She is going to stay a few more days..yay! We have done girlie stuff today.Jeremy and Houston are doing boy stuff...I hope they are having fun.

We went to church this morning.I was slightly bummed because our priest will be on vacation for a few weeks :P Oh well, it will still be great. I went to late mass today which I never do. I still like early mass better.I let the kiddos sleep in today though.

We went out to eat afterwards. We were eating and Houston saw a really tall big built guy. He had his kids with him.Of course Houston says " Mama look at that big daddy." I wanted to die.

He is at that age where he doesn't realize what he should and shouldn't say. Any advice?

We then went to the bookstore. I let Houston play trains. I have no idea why that train table is cooler than his?! LOL

Anyway, Monica and I are doing "girlie" stuff tonight. It's been fun.

She had me drag out all my wedding pics...man, I miss the skinny me! Talk about DEPRESSING. Oh,well!

I think we may do some scrapbooking later. She is a crafty little thing.

I am now going to start rambling...LOL I have to say I am getting pumped about the upcoming Olympics.Anyone else? I love them. I can't be the only one! What are ya'll looking forward too.It makes me a little sad though.I should be sitting watching the olympics with a little baby in my lap :( It is hard to know, I should have already given birth.Talk about depressing.People who don't know I miscarried have asked lately. Houston still talks about it constantly, he tells everyone with a little baby his little baby is with Jesus.UGH.

Okay,vent over.

I know over time things get better. They have with the other losses but this one still bothers me. I think because it was a later loss, we knew the sex, etc. It really does suck. I have to say I am jealous of people who can take pregnancy for granted.

Anyway, sorry to be a downer! Off to watch a girlie flick with my sister!

From the Houston's mouth....

Photobucket

Here are a few funnies..I am trying to remember...I at least think they are funny...and some are sweet. His speech has gotten so much better.

The other day my grandma asked if he would help her do some stuff... He told her "Yes if you give me monies, I love monies." She told him..."I'll give you some change" He told her..."No Mammaw I only like dollars...I no like change." His new obsession is his bank what can I say.

The other day I asked him why he was kissing his dad while his dad was sleeping. He told me" Cause I love him, daddy is my best friend." AW!

He has been telling me.. " Houston no use the potty. Potty's are dirty and aisting (disgusting). He is kinda right ;)

I tell Houston it is bath time...he walks into the bathroom...sticks his hand in the water...says " I clean, Mommy. All done." I neeve (need) clothes." He then proceed to hide behind the floor length drapes. He made his mistake when he said "Hey, mama I no hiding...okay!?" LOL

The other day at the library I finally got him his own card..He takes me looks at the lady and says " Good, Houston Cheence (Chance) have a dribers (Driver's Licence). We get out to the car and he tells me " Mama I drive, Houston has a driber's license...you no drive with your hurt foot." Good try son, but I'll pass :P

At the docs office the other day we are in the waiting room..He tells me "Mama I neeve a doctor too." I ask him why he says " For my baby in my belly." He then lifts up his shirts starts poking out his stomach and asks the people in the waiting room " Can you hear it?" He is sooo confused on all that...he wants to hear the heartbeat of his baby every time we go to the doctor..wth?

Oh a few weeks ago he had an ear infection...I took him to the doctor...first he told the doc..." No pretty doctor....no need to touch me." Then he proceeds to have a melt down but ends up telling her " Thanks for making me feel better lady doctor." We get outside to the car and he tells me dad..."That lady stuck a screwdriver in my ear..." We had to tell him it was just a light and it tickles...he then told us " That no tickles, that hurts"

He told me the other day.. " Mama you so handsome." He meant pretty but hey it was still sweet. :)

Sorry I can't think of anything better. I need to start writing this stuff down so I remember it when he is older for sure...he comes up with crazy and sweet stuff :)

I am a thief!

I stole this from Almost Catholic's blog.What can I say I am a bad bad girl ;)

Outside my window...It's sun shiny. It is so hot you can almost see stuff melting...okay I may be being a little melodramatic ;)

I am thinking...how much I would love to be thin again...it is annoying having to take meds that make you gain weight..but what choice do you have..kwim? I can't wait till my foot heals and I can go back to the gym everyday. Also, I wish I could have taken sonny boy to the Wiggles today :P

I am thankful for...my family, my friends and my church.

From the kitchen...I need to wash my dishes...we live in a house that is still pretty new but our dishwasher is HORRIBLE...so ocd Jade has to wash them by hand..I left some in the sink in some water overnight which I NEVER so now it is driving me nuts..about to go wash them.

I am wearing...a terry cloth sundressey thing...I wear it when I get out of the shower before I get dressed for the day if I am cleaning or something.

I am creating...nothing...sadly. I did do one scrapbooking page the other day....gasp!!

I am going...no where right now..my little sister is staying with me...I am letting Jeremy take it easy because he is going to watch the kiddos for me when I go to eat and to a movie with a friend this afternoon! I am pumped!!!

I am reading...a book about Queen Victoria by Jean Plaidy,Solomon's Sword about Kids the State took away... I have some great books I got from the library..they are almost all memiors..which I have a weakness for..

I am hoping...that I have a good week.I am am also hopeful I get some good news about someone next week..sorry to be vague just pray a little healing prayer for who I will call "Little Mama" :) Thanks.

I am hearing...The Dryer...laundry isn't is so glamourous!?

Around the house...I need to straigten somethings...fold...three baskets of laundry...do the floors wipe down counters and the above mentioned dishes.. :P

One of my favorite things...my family,my friends,my bible, my books, any computer, my rosary, the library

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Organize, get school supplies, get some paperwork done for some stuff, keep my head above water ;)

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Need I say more :P

I am a bum....

Well kind of..I am still bumming my hubbie's computer when I can. He has to get a part for mine...we shall see when it is fixed.Hopefully, soon!

I been speeding a lot of time reading..thank goodness for the library..I have read some great books lately. I have been reading a lot of memiors...good stuff!

I also checked out the PBS show where they had people like they did in colonial times...fascinating I tell you..I am a huge nerd..but I love anything history related..I want to check out 1900 house,1940's house, frontier house, and manor house...:)

I am a NERD.

My little sister is staying with me for a few days, it's been fun and she is a huge help! Houston loves his Aunt Momo for sure!

Anyway, I know this entry has been about NOTHING...but I promise I will write something riveting later ;)

Still a pilgrim... :P

Yes, you read that right. We head to the airport last night. Get through the 15 minute pat down I am getting because of the artifical metals in my chest ( the port, wires, etc) and get on the plane. The pilot gets on the loud speaker says we are delayed 1 hour. No biggie I will just make my connection. We sit there for an hour on the plane. The pilot gets back on and says we won't leave for 2 more hours..so I would miss my connection. He says don't fret because 95% of the flights in Chicago are behind. I go to check on my flight..it is running on time:P If I flew out on last nights flight I would be in the airport for like 19 hours before I could fly out. Been there done that , have the t-shirt...no thanks.

So the soonest they could get me out do to the 4th weekend is the 5th :P At least I will get to see a parade and some fireworks :P

I swear I have a black cloud over my head with this whole flying thing :P Ds is so confused with all these false alarms :P

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone who may be trying to get in touch with me know where I am :P

Wednesday, July 02, 2008

Well I am still a pilgrim :O

You read that right. We got hung up in some wreck traffic and a ride that should have taken 45 minutes took about 2hours and 20 minutes to I missed my flight. The other flight I may could have gotten on was the on to D.C. but it was delayed so you would miss any connection so you would be stranded in Dulles again. :P

So I am here in Plymouth, until I can catch the same 5:15 flight I missed yesterday :P Only me.

I am about to take Houston out back to swim to get him good and tired :) LOL

Oh and I posted on here once I had never read the Twilight series...well I drank the koolaid and read the books, they were great. Can't wait for the one coming out at the end of the summer! I am reading her new book "The Host" right now. It is good as well!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know I am alive and stil a pilgrim ;)

Not a pilgrim for much longer...

We are about to leave here in a matter of hours to fly back home. We have had a great trip. I will be sad to leave but glad to get back home..you know the drill.

We had so much fun visiting with the Stones. It made the trip worth it for sure.

Houston is now part fish. He loves to swim. I am goig to have to get him a pool for out back for sure.

I have already ordered my pics from snapfish. I was hoping they would beat me home...but they probably want. I can't wait to get them. They aren't good quality but who cares!

I dread all the airport madness in my future. We fly out from RI, to Chicago and then home. Say a little prayer for me if you are so inclined ;)

Sorry I haven't been around much. My computer is having issues. Dh has to fix the port on the back that makes it charge up so I will likely be computerless for a while. I will check everything when I can.
Just wanted ya'll to know so you wouldn't think I was AWOL.

Until I get home, BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

Monday, June 30, 2008

Picture Post, we head home tomorrow :P

I am dreading the plane rides :P

At the beach!!!!!!!!!

I am a pilgrim......okay not really....I am just in Plymouth

I made it here late last night. We drove an hour to the airport got there at 4 something and prmomptly missed the flight :P

Then I got rebooked for one at 10:45. It was a 13 row tiny plane. I got sick :P We got in at like 1 something to the D.C. airport. I was supposed to fly out with Houston at 4:45, well they bumped it back to 6. Then they canceled the flight to Rhode Island. Yeah. So then they booked us on a 10 O'clock flight.Well it got bumped to 10:30. Then when the time came, they over booked by 10 people :P So it was a first come first serve sit where you can flight. I ofcourse was one of the last in line with a sleeping child, two bags and a broked foot. The kind people I had been waiting with let me go to the front.

I can't tell you how nice all these people were. They helped me with Houston. God sent me an Angel and her name was Trish from RI. She helped me with Houston, carried my luggage, tried to give me her ticket, you name it she did it. It was a pleasure to met her. She was a wonderful lady. She made a horrible flight process bearable :)

Anyway, my computer stopped working the night I left :P So I will be spordiac in my posting.

I will post pics of the fun we have!

Forgive any typos and errors. I am still tired :P

I've been tagged...

I think I have done this before...but if not here it is....kinda boring ;)

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then go to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. What was I doing ten years ago: I was 16, doing normal 16 year old stuff. I think that particular summer I was probably doing a lot of activites, classes etc with the dance team I was on.

2. Five things on my to do list for today: Get the pizza place to take one of the charges off my debit card, play outside with Houston, change my clothes again...this heat bites!,start packing for my trip, straighten the house

3. Snacks I crave: anything crunchy & salty. Especially baked lays or chips and queso

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire: Pay off my debt, my friends and family and then give away the rest

5. Places I have lived: I have lived all over Alabama.

I am tagging any one who will take on the challenge :)

Funny because my last name used to be Simpson ;)

Take this test!
You are Marge from The Simpsons. You may not share Marge's blue bouffant, but you do share her animated style of mothering. Sometimes the pressures of maintaining a happy home may push you toward the edge, but at the end of the day, you believe in your children wholeheartedly, even when they're being rather, um, spirited.

You encourage your kids' creativity and individuality, whether that means watching them perform the saxophone or helping them raise exotic lizards. You may sometimes say things that sound like old-fashioned parenting clichés, but when it comes down to dealing with domestic disasters, you can be a pretty together, modern mama.

I confess!!!!!!!

Confession time!

If you are reading this you have to confess 10 things we didn't know about you...LOL and link it if you are so inclined in the comments section.

These are in no particular order.

1. I have an addiction to British magazines. I love them no sure why???
2. I am addicted to BBC America...again not sure why. I have always wanted to study abroad...sadly that boat has sailed :P
3. I wish I could be a size 1 again..those were the days. I wore a child's 14 when Jeremy and I got engaged..I wear a woman's 12 now :P
4. I am a flawed perfectionist, I want to be organized but I get overwhelmed.
5. I ache for another child. I think about my last mc daily. Breaks my heart.
6. I have low self esteem. You will very rarely see me in pics. I have like 4 total from when I was pregnant and less than 20 of me since my son has been born. It's sad really:(
7. I am a Tudor history buff. Love it!
8. I want to be an Olympic gymnast :P I loved watching gymnasts as a little girl.
9. I want to be a ballerina. I wish I hadn't stopped taking dance. I should have kept with point...I would still take lessons...if I could :O

Blogger...UGH

Last night I typed out a whole post and of course blogger ate it. I have all the luck ;)

Well, let's see. One of my best friends/almost sister had her baby on the 10th. Layney Rae was born after a very fast labor and weighed 6lbs 11oz. She is a peanut! She looks like her brother and has curly black hair. Candace is already out of the hospital, Layney Rae is due to get out of the NCIU on Friday.

I can't wait to see pics of her!! I am excited. Her brother is a cutie pie so if she has to be cute!

Hm...I am trying to find stuff to keep me from folding laundry. I hate to put it away:P Oh well, it needs to be done. It is just super hard with only one arm. :P

I am getting super pumped about our trip to Plymouth, MA to visit our friends/family. Sadly, it doesn't look like Jeremy will be able to come. It is going to be interesting to make the trip with Houston myself :P Yeah.

It is so hot here. I am hating this dang hot heavy walking boot.:P

I know this is a really really really borig entry but I gotta get busy. I will write something interesting tonight. Maybe ;)
